Welcome to ASD Rainbows

A.S.D. Rainbows is a charity that offers family support for families affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorder and other related conditions. Established in 2017. 

We are based in south wales currently helping children mainly from Rhondda Cynon Taff and the Merthyr Tydfil area. We are however happy to accept children from all over the UK as long as the parents are able to transport the child to South Wales.

It has been identified that there is a lack of suitable provision for preschool children on the autistic spectrum and ASD Rainbows aims to fill the gap. This gap in service has also been identified as a major concern by various health professionals, social workers and parents.

The charity is a non-profit making venture and registered with the charities commission”. Its aim will be to provide “early intervention therapies” tailored to meet each individual child’s needs and help them to reach their potential.

A.S.D Rainbows will be managed daily by four highly experienced individuals with over thirty years’ experience of autism and other related conditions. The service will be overseen by a Board of Trustees with experience from a wide variety of backgrounds and specialist input will be sought from Autism Fledglings consultancy. 
Funding for the service will be sought from a variety of charitable organisations, through regular fund raising events and donations and notional payments by families for classes attended.
